Description |
OK for Commercial Use? |
Indicate if this product can be offered to commercial buyers. |
Can this product be removed from any menu template? |
To remain in compliance, a dealership must offer every customer that is buying a vehicle the same set of products to avoid discrimination against the customer. However, certain customers may not qualify for certain products. For example, if a customer is 65 years old or older, they may not qualify for credit life insurance. Selecting this option gives you the flexibility to remove certain products from menu templates in cases where a customer may not qualify for a product. |
Is Product Taxed? |
Indicate if the product will be taxed. |
Tax Rate |
Enter the final tax rate of the municipality in which the dealership is selling the vehicle. Note: CGW currently does not honor the tax rate of the buying customer’s municipality, if it is different. |
Update all applicable menu templates with this product? |
This option updates all applicable menu templates according to your deal type and vehicle type selections when you save your changes. For example, if you select the Finance deal type and New and Used vehicle types, then menu templates that have these attributes will be updated automatically with this new product. |
Push product to DMS |
This option pushes the product information to your Dealer Management System (DMS). |
